What is a chroma key?

Chroma Key is a technique used in photography and video production to replace a solid colour background (usually green screen or blue) with another image or video during post-production. This allows the subject to appear in a different setting without needing to physically be there.

  • When to Use: Use chroma key when you want to create a composite image or video, such as placing a subject in a virtual environment.
